SALUDA ARCHITECTURE is a newly formed joint venture of two Columbia based architecture and design firms that have years of experience in the private and public sectors. Formerly Dewey Ervin Architecture and Saluda Mallard Architecture + Design, SALUDA ARCHITECTURE provides customized and approachable design processes for our clients. One of our specialties is in historic and adaptive reuse projects, primarily in small towns across South Carolina. Our firm facilitates the connection between the everyday and the extraordinary when it comes to solutions for your project.

Cleve Walker and Wendy Bertani Bergmann first met in 2012 at a local Columbia architecture firm and worked together for 5 years. Each went on to other experiences over the next 3 years before forming what was formerly known as Saluda Mallard Architecture + Design in late 2020. The partnership between Saluda Mallard Architecture + Design and Dewey Ervin Architecture began in 2022 with multiple commercial, residential and historic adaptive reuse before forming SALUDA ARCHITECTURE in early 2024.
